Hi im going to boost my d15z1 for dd but dont want to weld my oil pan and t fit for my turbo feed oil lines. Also bc i already changed the gaskets and parts. I dont want to remove again and just incase i also remove the turbo.
I want to buy a oil filter sandwitch turbo feed lines kit instead.
I found out that the d15z1 block has a oil cooler sandwitch plate on the oil filter area.
Can i install a turbo oil filter feed line kit on the existing oem cooler sandwitch plate, gaskets etc.
Is that possible. And what are good filter turbo line kits.

I had just gotten into my home town after my first year at college, too. You can read the full write up on her here:
Luckily, someone I new up at school was getting rid of his '90 CRX Si after getting a new job and buying a 2012 Civic Si. After I got back from vacation and received insurance and gift money I bought him! :bounce: He's got the normal wear and tear that you'd expect, but he's also got an after market intake, Espiler exhaust, racing suspension (I bounced on every stretch of imperfect highway), and poly bushings ( :crook:? ). Most importantly, he runs like a dream.

I could prattle on and on about his current condition, but I know how much we love our pictures in the community. So I'm just going to move on to the few pics I have. :blah: Sorry for the low quality.

Hey there HT, I have a 99 si and I'm having a issue with the power door locks. I've had this car for a little more then a year now and the problem has always been there, it just wasn't that high of a priority. The issue I'm having is when I unlock or lock my car with either the remote or manually, it stops functioning after 2-3 times. I don't mean it stops altogether, it SOUNDS like it wants to go and I still hear clicking down at the key less control module. This happens with both doors at the same time by the way. I have to leave it alone for a minute or two before it starts to work again. Also, when I roll up my windows, and immediately afterwards attempt to lock/unlock my car, it has the same symptoms as the ones previously mentioned. I had the alternator and battery checked at my local autozone, both checked out ok, but tomorrow I'll be swapping a known working battery into my car just to make sure. Has anyone dealt with something similar to this? Correct me if I'm wrong but if this was a electrical ground issue wouldn't this problem be continuous, as in my power door locks would never work? Thanks for your time!

We have been tossing around the idea of running OTS Bisi pistons and rods for the F20b.

Then it dawned on me, my brother is a machinist and I have a cad/cam background.

I've been reading quite a bit on the net about advantages of billet pieces vs forged, and having the ability to use a stronger alloy (that is not forgeable)...

If i were to design it based on the stock rotating assembly and have it balanced would this be an advantage over just order OTS pistons and rods?

Can anyone give me advice on alloys to use for the pistons and rods or direct me to a person or business that might be able to help?

I think it would be interesting to make billet pieces over forged and the cost would be quite a bit more reasonable (maybe not time, but material cost)

The front end started make clicking/clucking noise since last week. I thought it might be from wheel bearings because I did test by shake my wheels with my hands and it does shake. So I replaced the wheel bearings on my lude. Now my wheel are firm/tight and aren't shake anymore, but it doesn't solve the problem and STILL make clicking/clucking noise when I turn left and gas it to go. I thought it might be cv joints, but a friend of mine said it could be rack o pinion too, so Im here to see whats your opinion/advice/answer. Please help! Thanks luders!

If you "never heard" of me. Im by username is deaflude on PO/PP/PZ. Thank you!
